If have an english bulldog that has hip displasia.

Hi there, thanks for the question! Firstly, I would consider chatting to your local vet so they can assess your gorgeous bulldog dog and chat to about medical vs surgical therapy. If your dog is a candidate for surgery they may consider giving you a referral to a specialist surgeon for assessment. If you have caught it early, surgery may prevent the condition from worsening and provide your dog with the best quality of life. If the specialist does not think your pet requires surgery, there are many management tools such as keeping your dog trim and fit to alleviate excess strain on the joints, exercise restriction to prevent excessive force on his/her joints, and there are nutraceuticals that you can purchase from your local vet to can assist with cartilage repair and synovial fluids production. I hope that helps!
