Little Toska gets bitten by housemate Franky, but this domestic dispute will extend past the dogs and to the owners...
Chris gets in the middle of a domestic drama. Eron's dog has bitten his girlfriend's little terrier, Toska.
Eron is terrified about telling her the truth. Will their relationship survive and will Toska be in danger when he returns home?
How to help my dog with anxiety.
Our dog has a phobia of the heating system clicking on and off. It's gotten to the stage where he won't enter the lounge (where the noise is most audible) & sit with us, something he loves doing, he just stands shaking in kitchen. I've looked at a few things like a calming spray, collar etc but I'm just not sure what would be best. Any advice
How do I stop my dog peeing in the house (marking)
Hi, I have a 3 year old Jack Russell rescue dog and he is quite timid and anxious, he lifts his leg in the house including into his food bowl after eating, and once in his crate. (We have had him 2 weeks). We have another Jack Russell who is female and had no trouble training her to go outside but he is proving difficult to catch and discipline, I even had him on a lead all day and he snuck one by me. Help because I don't want to give him back to the shelter but it is on the cards.
Older dogs and the Summer heat?
What ways do you recommend to keep small, older dogs cool on hot days? I have a 15-16yo Jack Russell x Fox Terrier. Even though today's maximum temperature should only be 27'C (80'F) as compared to the weekend's maximum of 34'C (93'F), my dog is still having trouble with this heat. I am especially concerned about him because he has a bad heart murmur (as well as fatty lumps, a floating kneecap, arthritis, bad teeth, poor eyesight, difficulty hearing, and sensitive/itchy skin).I make sure he has plenty of water to drink; stays indoors/in the shade, in front of a fan; has his coat clipped short regularly; and occasionally receives a 'cool down' with a wet cloth... So apart from going somewhere with air-con, or maybe have him lay on top of a wrapped ice-pack, I don't know what else to do.
Needing Help.
Hi.My Name is Rachel, and I'm needing advice as to what dog would best suit me. I have a physical disability, I can walk and drive a car. I use crutches when I'm outdoors, but when I'm at home a I can walk around without them. I wear a caliper on my left leg. I have always wanted to have a dog as a companion, but I am not sure what breed would be best. My activity levels are ok, but I couldn't say that I am able to go for long walks. I have a park across from me, that is dog friendly. I live alone now, and I am 52. I hope someone can help me.SincerelyRachel Simpson
