Here are some suggestions that might help.

Cupcake Day

RSPCA is throwing a campaign across the nation to make a stand for animal welfare. You can share your baking skills with your pet and friends by hosting a Cupcake Day whilst raising money for a good cause. For more information on hosting, visit the website here. All funds accumulated will go into helping rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals that come through RSPCA shelters.

This event is officially on Monday 21 August so set your calendar for then.

Pet cafes

The Dog Café in Boronia is one of Melbourne’s small handful of cafes that cater specifically to dogs. It has swimming pools, a sand pit, a movie room with bean bags and plenty of treats to go around, your lunch date will never be more exciting. Wait! There’s more! The Dog Café also plans and caters for your pet’s “barkday” or even wedding.

Visit their website for more information.
